Music is vital in providing ambiance to the business that you do whether a restaurant, pub, hotel, disc jockey (DJ), radio/ TV broadcast, etc. If you use music for commercial purposes and/ or for public performance through broadcast or communication, you are a MUSIC USER. You are required by Section 36 of the Copyright law to apply for a license.

A person or an entity who intends to use and/or uses copyrighted musical works for commercial purposes. This includes bars, pubs, guest houses, live performance events, reality shows, hotels, broadcasting stations (radio & TV), clubs, shops, malls, eateries, barbering shops, spinners, hair salons, public transport vehicles, product activation/advertisement etc. Per the Copyright LI every music user must seek a copyright license before usage of any musical work.
