GHAMRO is a non-profit cooperate body, therefore all fees collected by it after allowing for administrative expenses, are distributed among the Authors, Publishers, Performers, Record Producers and Composers, in proportion to the use which has been made of their works. GHAMRO is a provisional member of the International Configuration of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) with a CISAC code 285. GHAMRO is a member of the Pan Africa Licensing Hub, ARIPO and holds a reciprocal representation with CAPASSO, SAMRO and other global CMO, MRO and PRO’s, RRO’S.Â

GHAMRO makes the Music Users Task very simply and moderate Annual payment through it blank license payment. Having made that single payment each year, the license is secured in the knowledge that GHAMRO holds him covered and he can perform any music in public. in this way GHAMRO renders an invaluable service to Music Rightsholders and Users in Ghana.
